Update smart for smooth performance
Keep it secure
Apple is constantly developing new technology with faster chips and smarter video processing. Each update to macOS and iPadOS also brings improved security, reducing the risk of hackers gaining access to your videos and analysis. An updated system also ensures MyVideoAnalyser and MyVA Remote run quickly and reliably, without unexpected crashes or delays. And when you’re working with large files, that’s a must.
Support you can count on
Apple releases a new macOS version every year. The current version is macOS 15 Sequoia, supported on MacBooks from around 2018 onwards. Still using an older model? No problem, MyVideoAnalyser is fully compatible with macOS 12 and newer.
We make sure our tools take full advantage of the latest macOS features; giving you access to cutting-edge technology. At the same time, we continue to support older versions like macOS 12 Monterey, macOS 13 Ventura, and macOS 14 Sonoma. So there’s no rush, but do update in time to keep everything running smoothly. And if anything goes wrong, our support team is ready to help you out.
Looking ahead: macOS 26 Tahoe
Coming this autumn, Apple will launch macOS 26, named Tahoe. As with most big updates, the first few versions (26.0, 26.0.1, 26.0.2) may still have some early bugs. Usually, version 26.1 is when things truly settle down. That’s why we recommend holding off on upgrading until macOS 26.1 is released, so you can avoid stress during key analysis or match days.
In short:
- Keep your MacBook and iPad up to date for speed, stability and security
- MyVideoAnalyser runs best on macOS 12 and above
- macOS 26 Tahoe is coming, wait for version 26.1 for smooth performance
