Start exploring the new features in MyVA v3.6.4

We’re excited to roll out a fresh set of features designed to optimise your workflow – whether you're breaking down a post-match performance or analysing the footage live. These updates are all about giving you more flexibility, faster workflows, and deeper insight into the game. Let’s dive into what’s new in MyVideoAnalyser version 3.6.4 and why you should give them a try today.

Play highlights in reverse – A new perspective

Ever wanted to understand what led to a key moment by watching the build-up backwards? You can now choose to play highlights in reverse directly from the timeline. Simply select your preferred playback order via the “Order subvideo by...” dropdown, or toggle “Reverse playback order” in your report item settings.

Why this matters: Reverse playback can be a game-changer in post-match reviews. It helps coaches and analysts trace back in a natural, time-saving way. Instead of skipping back manually, let MyVideoAnalyser do it for you – automatically and in the order you need.

Smarter highlight tools, less manual work

  • Copy automations along with highlight buttons – Spend less time reconfiguring and more time analysing.
  • Add/remove events to multiple highlights at once – Bulk editing just got easier. Keep existing events and add new context to multiple highlights in one go.

These changes are perfect for workflow setups when time is tight, and for enriching large datasets without losing previous work.

More powerful overlap analysis
Our new VP Block Overlap function lets you filter based on how two data sets overlap – whether it’s highlights, events, or a mix of both. This opens the door to more advanced tactical analysis in MyVideoAnalyser.

Passthrough capture – A new output option
Need more flexibility with your video capture setup in MyVA? The new Passthrough setting allows you to set your capture video with the same input settings as the output – ideal if your recording equipment already transcodes the video. This avoids unnecessary re-encoding, keeping file sizes smaller and preserving original quality.

Why it’s useful: Save storage, reduce processing, and speed up your workflow – perfect for live setups where efficiency matters.
