Insights, innovation and inspiration: a look back at our user event
Tackling the realities of the analysis cycle
The first topic at the event focused on the analysis cycle, a process every analyst knows well, but one we explored in a fresh and practical way. Building on previous discussions, we shared insights on preparing for matches, working together during games, and reflecting afterwards with players and head coach.
We were incredibly grateful to head coaches and analysts for sharing their experiences. Their insights into using video analysis, organising workflows, and handling the challenges of a new squad, or the start of a season with a new trainer gave everyone present tangible takeaways. Hearing these examples from the field sparked lively discussions and showed clear, practical ways to apply analysis in real match situations.
New features to empower analysts
We also showcased some exciting new features in MyVideoAnalyser:
- The ability to add a live match clock and score into the video.
- New options in the timeline (imports) and highlight scheme, giving analysts more ways to organise and present key moments.
- Improved drawing and presentation tool, letting coaches show tactical drawings on the video and add live notes while working with players.
These updates and much more make video analysis faster, easier, and more engaging. Both for analysts and the headcoaches who rely on these insights.
Staying ahead with technology
We also discussed practical tips for keeping tools stable. Our advice is to wait until Apple releases a stable version of macOS 26 before updating. You can read more about this here.
A glimpse of what’s next
In the afternoon, we gave a sneak peek at the next wave of tools we’re developing. While we can’t share everything yet, we’re very excited about what’s coming. We’ll reveal more soon.
Thank you
A big thank you to everyone who joined us for their presence, contributions, and enthusiasm. Your expertise and openness made the event so valuable. The laughter and shared experiences reminded us that performance analysis is not just about tools and data, but about people working together to make an impact.
